Synopsis
Major General Pienaar at the Headquarters of the 1st South African Division at Gazala, Libya, giving an interview to war correspondents. They include Alan Moorhead of the Daily Express, Alex Clifford of the Daily Mail, Frank Gervasi of Collier's Weekly, Chester Morrison of the Chicago Sun and George Lait of the International News Service.
A burning ME110 at Gazala, shot down by anti-aircraft guns.
Armoured car patrol between El Adem and Bir Hacheim. The patrol consists of a Marmon-Harrington armoured car, a Humber and a truck. The driver of the Marmon-Harrington looks through binoculars. A German car is sighted, separated from its column. The driver surrenders to an Indian lieutenant. The driver is searched and boards the armoured car.
