Synopsis

Tanks and troops at Port Tewfik, Egypt.

Anti-tank guns being towed away by trucks. Labourers at work on dockside. Valentine Mark III tanks running onto tank transporters. These are the latest type of Valentine tank, fitted with a 25lb gun. Z craft berthing alongside North Quay Dock. Troopship El Madina berthing, carrying Indian troops. A tug brings troops and their kit to the quayside. Troops marching to train. Troops boarding train and looking out of carriage window. Troopship Ethiopia berthing at Port Tewfik, carrying reinforcements for the Free French and Indian Divisions in the Western Desert. Indian troops waving to their friends on the troopship as the tug moves off. Indian troops of the 1st Afridi Battalion disembarking from El Madina. Some of the men play drums and trumpets.
