Synopsis

Sir Godfrey Huggins, the Prime Minister of Rhodesia, visits Richard Casey and the 237 Rhodesian Squadron, RAF at El Daba. The Prime Minister and Lieutenant-Colonel Day leave Egypt for South Africa.

14 to 15 March. A flying boat on the Nile. Sir Godfrey leaves the boat and talks to the British Airways chief traffic officer. He walks up the gangway and is introduced to Rhodesian personnel. He meets his son John, an RAF officer. Sir Godfrey talking to Richard Casey in the grounds of Casey's home in Mena. Sir Godfrey talking to his son. The party includes Major-General Theron of the Union Defence Forces; Lieutenant-Colonel Day (General Staff Officer), Major Lindsay (South African Public Relations) and Lieutenant Manning, a Rhodesian Press Officer.
