Synopsis
Magwe, Burma, 23 February 1942. Aircraft and personnel of RAF Squadron 113. Aircrew in the back of a lorry driving to Bristol Blenheim Mk IV aircraft. Various self-conscious shots of aircrew fastening themselves into their parachutes and climbing in and out of their Bristol Blenheim Mk IV aircraft. Shots of aircraft engines. Medium shots of the aircraft taxiing slowly along the dusty runway.
Rangoon, Burma, 1 March 1942. Establishing shots of the city, showing various buildings including long shots of barrage balloons tethered over the city. Packed railway train in Rangoon. Shots of passengers sitting on the roof and in goods carriages. Portrait shots of many of the civilian passengers including an old man drinking and many small children. Overcrowded train departing the station.
Probably Rangoon, Burma, February 1942. Shots of flowers in a garden. Chinese General Yu Fei Peng and S H Shen, Resident Associate Director of China Bureau of Transport Administration walk in the garden and pose for the cameraman. Shipping on the Irrawaddy, passenger boats, small boats and civilians on the riverbank. Various portrait shots of the civilians, including shots of small children. Shots of a small group of convicts marching down a gangway to board a ship (Ford's Dope sheet identifies the prisoners as Fifth Columnists).

The cameraman's dope sheet does not include filming dates for either of the Rangoon sequences. The General Yu Fei Peng and Irrawaddy footage was mailed on 28 February 1942 and the shots in Rangoon was mailed on 1 March 1942.
