Synopsis

Army Recruiting film in which a man who has served in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC) writes to a friend who has decided to join, explaining the many benefits and opportunities offered by the RAOC. Basic training at the Corps' Blackdown depot is discussed briefly, followed by a description of some of the trades available. Overseas postings and the facilities in Singapore, Cyprus and West Germany are shown and described, with emphasis on the quality and modernity of accommodation and other base amenities.
