the FALL OF HONG KONG - 1941
This film is held by the Imperial War Museum (ID: DRA 1635).
Synopsis
Against the background of other major events in 1941, the fall of Hong Kong may well have held little significance to the Public in the UK, and yet the grim battles fought over the impassive hills of Hong Kong Island reflected the spirit of the British Commonwealth and their Allies to resist when the Japanese attacked with such overwhelming odds.
