Men having a joyride on a Universal carrier; it stops and men jump off to start a game of football. One man grabs a hockey stick but then discards it; the carrier reverses. Officers (?) eating in a separate tent; one man appears to be wearing the patch of the Army Film and Photographic Unit (AFPU). Drinking a toast; one of the officers wears staff tabs and the insignia of 25th Indian Division. Two Indians approach with roasts; as they reach the tent a sign can be seen with reads: 'SEAC [South East Asia Command - denoted by phoenix symbol] Film Unit (Br[itish]). The roasts are placed on the table with retake. Men eating.

Notes

Much of the eating scenes appears to have been shot beneath a patterned cloth awning. This gives a striking dappled effect to some of this film. Also an interesting reference to the SEAC Film Unit, rarely caught in front of the camera.
