Synopsis

At a river ford somewhere in the coastal Arakan region of Burma, troops of 25th Indian Division man a crossing and help convey guns across the river.

A river ford in the Arakan; a Morris Quad artillery tractor tows a 25-pounder artillery piece. Men working in the river. Another Quad approaches and fords the river. Using toggle ropes to mark the path. Troops working on a 25-pounder. Manhandling the gun across the river. The gun becomes stuck and a tow cable is fitted. Towed out. Dismantling a 25-pounder. The barrel is placed in an open wagon and pulled across. Another piece of the gun is transferred.

Notes

No dopesheet for this film. At one point a 25th Indian Divison patch (the 'Ace of Spades') is seen, which would suggest a location in the Arakan.
