Synopsis

British troops, probably of 1st Battalion Royal Welch Fusiliers, take up positions at Kabo Weir on the Mu River in Burma and mount a patrol.

Notes

This forms part of XXXIII Indian Corps' drive across the Shwebo Plain towards the Irrawaddy River. Kabo Weir was an important location as it controlled the water supply in a hot and dry area of Burma.
