Synopsis

FIlm, probably from Akyab Island in the Arakan coastal region of Burma, showing an inspection by senior officers of bomb damage to buildings.

Group of officers, including an unidentified major-general on a bomb-damaged jetty, probably in the Arakan coastal region of Burma. Party at a road marker, apparently consisting of a number of cannon barrels set into a brick or stone pedestal. There is a wooden post placed on top inscribed with Japanese kanji script. Views of bomb damage in a built-up area, including a clock tower; a plastered wall with a clock face painted on it and a street name 'Bazaar Road'. Damaged jetty.

Notes

No dopesheet for this film; details as to date, location etc are unclear. Coastal location suggests the Arakan, so the location may be Akyab island, but this is very tentative.
