Synopsis
During operations at the Myebon peninsula, in the Arakan region of Burma, an Indian Navy sloop is ammunitioned and British troops of 3 Commando Brigade receive mail.
Indian sailors and soldiers walk by a gangway from one Indian Navy sloop to another. They walk back the other way carrying (5-inch?) shells. Closer shot men passing with ammunition. Stacking ammunition on deck. Indian troops of 25th Indian Division walking up Easy Beach at Myebon. Another landing craft beaches. Feet stepping off the ramp. Scene on the beach; one landing craft reverses. A number of empty light lorries are driven over an extremely rocky improvised track. Commandos sorting mail; a number of copies of SEAC have also been delivered. Private D R N McNamee of Glasgow thumbs open an airmail letter. Troops with their letters. Village of Myebon with a pariah dog wandering in the street. A number of vehicles, including a DUKW amphibian, are towed along a dusty and uneven road.
