Synopsis

On a beach at Myebon, in the Arakan region of Burma, a grounded Landing Craft Tank is used to provide a steady firing platform for a battery of 25-pounder field guns.

Various shots of a 25-pounder gun being fired. Unpacking ammunition; the ammunition box is dented and needs kicking to release the rounds. Stacking the ammunition. Shots of three 25-pounder guns emplaced on a beached Landing Craft Tank, with views of the guns being fired. Hand making notes. Major J H Russell, a battery commander, on a wireless set to communicate with an Air Observation Post. A 25-pounder barrel recoiling.

Notes

The dopesheet does not identify the unit seen, nor does the official history, but the Royal Artillery field regiments of 25th Indian Division were 8th Field Regiment and 27th Field Regiment.
