Synopsis

In northern Burma, American aircraft attack Japanese positions near Konkha and Major-General Festing visits the front line.

American P-47 Thunderbolt fighter-bombers (probably of 80th Fighter Group, US 10th Air Force) attacking a Japanese position. Major-General Festing, commander 36th Division with an American M1 Carbine slung across his back, speaks to one of his brigadiers. Festing leaning nonchalantly on a trailer smoking his pipe.
