Synopsis
Ford mobile canteens involved in the blitz and in ceremonies.
The film is divided into 4 numbered and titled sections. "H M the Queen inspects Ford-built mobile canteens" The queen inspects mobile canteens presented by Barbados, Antigua, Nyasaland, Aden. "Ford-built YMCA mobile canteen in London blitz Winter of 1940-1941" Includes shots from BLITZ NIGHT(FWR 50)/CANTEEN ON WHEELS (UKY 278). "Battered Ford-built YMCA tea car inspected by Lord Halifax in U.S." Brief shot only. "Ford Motor Company presents mobile canteens to Salvation Army June 1941" A line of mobile canteens (camouflage painted) inscribed "Presented by Ford Motor Company, Dagenham Essex" take part in a ceremony. A shot of a bomb victim drinking tea is interpolated. Other shots show mobile canteens in the field (at a gun emplacement and a balloon site).
