Synopsis

I. Prague Trade Fair. Economic success of German Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia is demonstrated at Prague Trade Fair. Interior scenes include an electric train, while outside visitors inspect a locomotive.

II. Hitler Youth rowing and canoeing championships. Rowing and canoeing championships between Hitler youth teams from Berlin and Brandenburg take place on the lake at Grnau outside Berlin. Spectators include members of the Hitler Youth and Bund deutscher Mdel.

III. International athletics in Helsinki. Sweden beats Germany and Finland in a competition represented by scenes from the sprint, discus, javelin and pole vault events.

IV. Departure of British forces from Peking. Forced evacuation of British troops from Peking is said to represent the elimination of British forces from the Far East. Soldiers in solar topees march to the railway station, where they assemble before boarding a train, watched by British women. Ironic soundtrack has "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" and snatch of "Rule Britannia".

V. Hungarian occupation of Transylvania. Large crowds welcome the arrival of Hungarian troops in Nagyvarad in Transylvania, formerly Oradea in Rumania, following the treaty signed in Vienna between the two countries. The Hungarian Regent Admiral Horthy rides past jubilant crowds before a flag-blessing ceremony.

VI. Venetians sandbag horses of San Marco. Italians protect sculptures on top of Church of San Marco and Doge's Palace as British are liable to attack civilian objectives.

VII. German minesweeper fishing boats off Norway. Fishing boats converted into German minesweeper, and bearing sharks jaw markings on bow, sail out of a fjord to clear mines. (Abrupt end, incomplete.)

Acquisition: leader is marked Washington, implying source of this captured enemy material was British Embassy in USA.
