Synopsis
I. "KAMLA CLUB WINS AGA KHAN HOCKEY TOURNAMENT". The defeat of the Kalyamal Mills by the Kamla Club Team of Campore in the final in Bombay. II. "TRAINING FOR 'THE DURATION' AND AFTERWARDS". The training of recruits for the Special Armed Constabulary at the police centre in the United Provinces. III. "MECHANIZING THE FARMER". The introduction of a tractor to the farmers of Sir Feroz Khan Noon's estates in the Punjab. IV. "THE NEWS IN BRIEF. Rawalpindi Srinagar Service and Alligators in Burma". The introduction of a new fleet of buses into the Punjab Transport Services and a new form of transport, the Alligator, being used by the Allied armies in Burma to carry supplies across difficult terrain. V. "THE DRIVE SOUTH FROM MANDALAY". The advance of General Slim's veteran 14th Army through the towns of Minjen and Chaukee.
