Synopsis
I. "H.M.S. HOWE - FAMOUS BATTLESHIP IN INDIAN WATERS". H.M.S. Howe is in Bombay Harbour on a short twenty-four hour visit after serving with the British Pacific Fleet. II. "SIR AKBAR HYDARI IN BOMBAY". Sir Akbar Hydari, new member of the Information and Broadcasting Department comes to inspect the new studios of Information Films of India. III. "FOUR KILLED IN RAILWAY ACCIDENT". Four persons were killed when a goods train was derailed near Bhanpupura in Rajputana. IV. "ALL INDIA MUSLIM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ENTERTAINS GOVERNOR OF BOMBAY". Members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry assemble at the Taj Mahal Hotel to meet Sir John Colville. V. "NEWSPAPER EDITORS MEET IN DELHI". Newspaper Editors from all over India arrive to attend a three-day Conference at New Delhi. VI. "NARINDER BEATS GHAUS IN CENTRAL PUNJAB TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS". At Lahore, youthful Narinder beats India's number one ranked player. VII. "BOMBAY CELEBRATES ALLIED VICTORY OVER JAPAN". Members of the Armed Forces, Civil Defence Volunteers, Police Contingents and Nursing Services parade at Brabourne Stadium in Bombay to celebrate Victory Day.
