Synopsis
I. "CHAMBER OF PRINCES MEETING AT DELHI". Newsparade presents the first film record ever to be made of a meeting of the Indian Chamber of Princes. Princes from almost every Indian State had gathered in Delhi to discuss the future of India. II. "BENGAL EMBARKS ON CERAMIC RESEARCH". Sir Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar addresses the scholars at the foundation ceremony of the Ceramic Research Institute. III. "POLICE OFFICERS DECORATED ON ANNUAL PARADE". At Bombay, Sir John Colville, His Excellency the Governor, decorates four officers. IV. "HONOURING THE MEMORY OF A FAMOUS CHINESE GUERILLA LEADER". In Singapore, the Chinese community gathers to take part in a special funeral service in honour of Colonel Limbo Song, who died in captivity under the Japanese. V. "CHAKORI WINS THE INDIAN DERBY". Chakori comes home a length and a half ahead of Namdar with Flying Home third and Priority, the favourite, fourth.
