Synopsis
I. "BOMBAY'S FIRST POST WAR INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION". Sir John Colville arrives to officially open the industrial exhibition in Bombay. Nearly 200 stalls, each displaying a sample of Indian manufacture, cover almost eight acres of ground. II. "AGRICULTURAL AND CATTLE SHOWS IN THE CENTRAL PROVINCES". Members of the Exhibition Committee arrive at the Show at Amraoti and inspect the specimens. III. "SOCIAL PROBLEMS ENGAGE ATTENTION OF THE WOMEN'S VOLUNTARY SERVICE". Delegates enter the Conference Hall where they will discuss policy suggestions put forward by some 2000 provincial and states branches. IV. "INDIA'S FOOD DELEGATION". The India Food Delegation leave for Britain where their Mission is to secure food supplies to help feed India's 400 million population.
