I. "MOTOR CAR INDUSTRY ONE HUNDRED PERCENT ON WAR PRODUCTION" Sheriff of Bombay Fazal Rahimtoola and Sir Sultan Chinoy show the Governor of Bombay how the Indian Motor Industry is dealing with war demand. Commentary notes how Indian "coach builders have no time for the delicate craft of carriage makers now". Manager Mr Akbar Chinoy shows the Governor of Bombay the factory. Factory scenes of machines, wood dumps and workers painting trucks in 'battle dress' for future army convoys.

II. "HOW THE AMERICAN RED CROSS WORKS IN INDIA" Film describes duties of modern war nurse which includes having a "taste in books", knowing about "handicrafts" and being able to cope with patients' "family troubles". Scenes of patients' convalescence as they play board games, catch, sip tea, swim, dive and play volleyball. In the eyes of the Red Cross, " a patient's well only when he stops thinking about being ill".

III. "TWO CHIEFS ASSUME RESPONSIBILITIES OF STATE CONTRAST IN CEREMONIAL" The Maharajah of Manipur State rides carrier on elephant as he leads a ceremonial procession of courtiers to his throne to receive power from the Snake Goddess, "so their wise men have said". Four other Maharajahs are in attendance to see the young ruler of Udaipur invested with full powers of state. Commentary notes, he has been "trained for his post, working in the Offices of his administration". He speaks to his new subjects. Scenes of the Dewan and his family from Bastar State conclude film.

IV. "VICEROY VISITS HISTORIC HYDERABAD" Lord and Lady Wavell are greeted by Hyderabad's Ruling Family including The Nizam of Hyderabad, Princess Nulufer, the Prince of Berar and the Princess of Berar. Lady Wavell inspects wounded Indian soldiers in a hospital and meets a British nurse. Scenes follow of visit to RAF farm and visit by Lady Wavell to Women's Volunteer Services with Princess of Berar. Commentary states that "Hyderabad's women are progressive and take their place besides the rest of India's WVS workers". Lord Wavell visits Osmania University and meets staff outside building. Scenes of Hyderabad and nearby Golconda (Fort ?) follow as tour of "a great State, great with history" ends with the Nawab of Chattari's garden party.
