Synopsis
In Hong Kong British and Indian troops mount a parade to mark the King's birthday.
Sailors marching off followed by troops of 3 Commando Brigade. The band of the Jaipur Guards, caught in a short-lived but very heavy rain shower. Close-up of Indian troops of 150 Indian Infantry Brigade. Royal Air Force Regiment passing. Women of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force following onto the parade ground at Murray Barracks. Close-up Indian soldier. Close-up British soldier. A Navy Army Air Force Institute (NAAFI) tea wagon. Commando enjoying tea. Close-up commando corporal, apparently drinking from an open tin can (condensed milk?). Commandos queueing for tea (soft focus). More queuing with focus corrected. Close-up Jaipur Guard drinking tea. Local kids gather around something but it is not clear what. A commando and a Jaipur Guardsman share tea; the Indian soldier pours it into the commandos mug, and some overflows.
