Synopsis

Liberated local people perform traditional dances for British and Indian troops at Pagan, central Burma.

Line of Burmese civilians in elaborate dress; the man nearest camera is noticeably portly. They appear to be singing. The band; a man plays a ci wain or gong circle. More of the choir singing. Indian and British troops applaud vigorously. Some kind of traditional narrative dance in progress. Soldiers applauding. A circle dance. Girl performs a sword dance. Three girls dancing.
