Lieutenant-Colonel Singh Kalha, now in full equipment, briefs his men before a scramble net drill. Views of the convoy. Bofors gun and crew aboard the Dilwara. Notes

Lieutenant-Colonel Kalha was commander of 2nd Battalion 1st Punjab Regiment (2/1st Punjab), part of 123rd Brigade that lead 5th Indian Division's reoccupation. However, at least some of the troops he is seen addressing are from 2nd Punjab Regiment (probably 3rd Battalion). 2/1st Punjab was notable for its highly Indianised officer complement, with five of its thirteen officers being Indians, including both the commander and his second-in-command.
