Synopsis

Somewhere in the Arakan coastal region of Burma, troops are seen on the march in dusty conditions, and Sherman tanks fire a barrage.

Indian troops marching along a dusty track with paddy fields behind. There are stationary Sherman tanks, presumably of 19th Lancers, in the paddy field. Stationary Shermans with troops passing. Various shots of static Shermans. Troops with mules pass. Group of officers in discussion with a map spread on the ground. Looking at the map; one officer wears the Ace of Spades patch of 25th Indian Division. Another cine cameraman is present. Looking at map; a captain with 19/6 on his epaulette. Shots of Shermans passing along a narrow track. Six Shermans stationary in a field; they fire their main guns and machine guns. Sherman. Parked signals jeep with Sherman behind. Men pose on a Sherman. More Shermans firing. Smoke rising on a ridge a short distance away. A Sherman; the commander in the turret speaks to someone standing outside, and a cameraman is standing on the rear hull with his Eyemo camera. More of the Sherman firing, from the left side of the tank.
