Synopsis

General Sir Claude Auchinleck, commander-in-chief India, inspects British troops of the Lincolnshire and Sherwood Forresters regiments, Indian and Gurkha troops and also visits a hospital.

Inspecting gunners. Auchinleck speaking on a microphone. Meeting Indian officers. He visits a hospital and meets British patients. Tented camp; he speaks to (an Indian) woman in a white uniform. Meeting British and Indian officers (?). He presents a medal to an Indian officer, which hangs from a broad ribbon around his neck. Addressing the group apparently informally.
