Synopsis
At Ambala airfield in the Punjab region of India, Viscount Wavell takes the salute at a tenth anniversary parade of the Indian Air Force.
Viscount Wavell on a parade ground on an airfield; Air Marshal Sir Richard Peirse behind him. He takes the salute as Indian Air Force personnel march past. Seated military and civilian spectators. More of the march past. Troops present arms; a standard bearer carries an ensign. An Indian officer salutes Wavell, Another officer salutes and then withdraws. Wavell addressing the parade. Various shots of spectators. Hoisting Indian Air Force ensign. Wavell shakes an Indian officers hand. Wavell and other senior officers. Airmen pass with bayonets fixed. Senior officers; Peirse speaks to a Sikh (army?) officer wearing staff tabs. High and wide shot; airmen at the present arms with biplanes arranged behind. Pipe band marching. RAF Douglas Dakota transport aircraft taxiing. Senior officers and civilians by the aircraft. Wavell passes with an Air Commodore. Wavell inspects assembled airmen. Hurricane; pan to Wavell speaking to an officer. March past.

No dopesheet survives for this film, so date, locations and units etc are unclear. The cameraman is unknown, but the name 'Capt Beek' appears to be marked on the tail of this reel.
