Synopsis

ACTUALITY. Lord Roberts leaving to take over control of the British Army in South Africa fighting the Boer War.

Lord Roberts, preceded by Lady Roberts and accompanied by a number of diginitaries, walks up the gangway onto the deck of the `Dunottar Castle', raising his top hat to acknoledge the cheering. A line of guards is drawn up on the quayside.
