ACTUALITY. A British troop exercise during the Boer War presented as genuine military action.
[THE SCOUTS IN PURSUIT OF THE BOERS] Mounted troops riding across open country towards the camera (52). [BRINGING THE MAXIMS INTO ACTION] The troops dismount and set up their Maxim guns (95). [A CHARGE AND GENERAL FUSILLADE] The troops fire from behind some low brushwood (150ft).
