Synopsis

Goods transportation: ferry and junks on the waterfront; lorries; coolies carrying a variety of goods along roads. Passenger transportation: ocean liners - `Ajax'; `Aramis'; `Empress of Japan'; and `Chitral'; harbour ferries; motor buses; tramcars; rickshaws; sedan chairs; the Peak Tram on its journey from Lower Station to the Terminus.
