Synopsis
I. "Americans blitz Renault Works." Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress aircraft take off from an airfield in Britain to bomb the Renault automobile and armaments factory at Billancourt, Paris. Target and River Seine are clearly visible from a great height. Commentary claims that although "casualties are inevitable, all true Frenchmen realise the necessity and welcome the bombing."
II. "Second battle of Burma." Map of Burma indicating area of British advance into Arakan Peninsula introduces general scenes showing army's use of waterways for transport purposes, Burma Police back in operation, Wavell's deputy General Sir Alan Hartley inspecting a forward position, Bren carriers scouting along the shore and Hurricanes in the air.
III. "RAF mount Palace Guard." On the occasion of the RAF's 25th Anniversary the RAF Regiment mount guard for the first time at Buckingham Palace, watched by the King, Queen, Lord Trenchard, Portal and Sinclair. Regiment relieves the Coldstream Guards.
