Story 1 features a shot of the mascot of the Australian troops, a kangaroo.

"Tommy Atkins" was a generic term used for British soldiers. Story 3 features women driving army supply trucks.

The "rigid tests" shown in stories 5 and 7 include riding a motorcycle through a flooded ditch, loading at least 5 men onto a bicycle, driving up hills at fast speeds with several passengers, and holding the back of the motorcycle as the rider attempts to move forward. Story 7 also features the entry gate of Triumph Works, a motorcycle company founded in 1897.

RAMC stands for Royal Army Medical Corps.

HAC stands for Honourable Artillery Company.

Story 13 shows the unveiling of the memorial for Reginald Alexander John Warneford, VC in Brompton Cemetery. (See NPU 8 story 6, online reference BP010116166030).

German airship SL11 was shot down in flames at Cuffley, Hertfordshire by Lieutenant William Leefe Robinson on 2-3 September 1916. The SL11 was the first airship to be brought down on British soil, Robinson won the VC for the action. After its destruction, the SL11 was initially wrongly identified as the Zeppelin L21 by some British authorities and this error was perpetuated by the rapidly produced 'souvenirs' and in some newsreels.

Unless noted on the story title, the production date is tentative.
