Synopsis
Incomplete report on Aden, beginning with a series of short interviews with men of the Northamptonshire Regiment, then engaged in patrolling the border between Aden and Yemen. The film goes on to show interviews with the Aden finance minister, Sheikh Mohammed Fareed, who describes the financial and foreign policy challenges facing the country, and Abdul Khaled Suleiman, Secretary of the Dock Workers' Union and a member of the United National Front Party, who advocates an end to British involvement in Aden and union with Yemen. The Governor of Aden from 1956 to 1960, Sir William Luce, gives his views on the British position in Aden and the prospects for the future.
