Polish DPs returning home; in transit camp and boarding ship at Lbeck. c. Munich Theatre puts on 'White Horse Inn' (long extracts).
III. London. Report on the engagement of Princess Elizabeth to Philip Mountbatten, including the official poses, the 'first public appearance together', and an appearance on Buckingham Palace balcony before enthusiastic crowd.
IV. Sport. a. Trotting 'Derby' in Munich. b. Speedway racing in Berlin. c. Henley Regatta.
V. "Oil from the Persian Gulf." Report on the opening up of Kuwait's oil fields, including film of Sheikh Ahmed, and shots contrasting traditional lifestyle to new technology.
