IV. USA's Navy Remembrance Day: ships take on flowers and wreaths, and 'lay' them at sea.
V. Brussels: Churchill with his daughter Mary welcomed by crowds as he arrives to receive honorary doctorate at the University.
VII. Group Commander H J Wilson's aircraft speed record attempt in a Gloster Meteor.
VIII. Arrival in Greece of Canada's Ambassador Major General La Fleche: arrives in port, inspects UNRRA supplies.
IX. Burma: a forces open air cinema show in jungle.
X. The verdict at the conclusion of the trial of Dachau officials. Courtroom scenes, including numbered accused in the dock, witnesses give testimony (one identifies a defendant); prisoners' midday meal; verdict and sentences.
