Synopsis
Cinemagazine for African distribution. This issue contains items on road building in Kenya and on animals from Kenya at London Zoo.
'Kenya - builds roads' Kenya village, straw huts. Bulldozer clearing land to build roads. Trees uprooted. Stones / rocks fed into a machine to be broken up. Machine with conveyors, men working. Small pieces of rock into bucket. Road levelling machine. Most machines driven by Africans who learnt to drive during the war. The finished Nairobi to Limuru road.
'England - Animals from Kenya for London Zoo'. Crowds at London Zoo. Lions in cages from Africa. Leopard in cage. Flamingos from Africa in water. Mountain goats. Lorry transporter with crates of animals arriving from Kenya. Elephants and antelope unloaded. A Civet cat. A lion. Crowds looking at the elephant and the keeper feeding him.
