Map of Middle East with Kuwait highlighted, map of Port of Kuwait illustrating the Port Anchorage Basin and the location of coral reefs. A harbour is now being constructed and a channel dredged, but shipping cannot use the port until the coral reefs have been blasted. This film shows the preparation and the use of Opencast Gelignite to carry out this project, so vital for the country's future."

See the deep-sea divers leave the boat and enter the sea, hand powered pump for the air, explosives being lowered into the water, divers getting out of the water. Two large explosions.
