Synopsis
Footage of various Allied transport aircraft taking off after being loaded with weaponry and mules for resupply operations.
Aircraft include RAF Douglas Dakota and US Army Air Force Curtiss C-46 Commando. Also (briefly) RAF Hawker Hurricane. One Dakota has 'Kia Ora' mascot painted on nose [suggesting New Zealander aircrew]. A motorbike and jeep trailer are seen being loaded onto aircraft. One aircraft refuelled from a bowser. Major General Briggs, General Officer Commanding 5th Indian Division, arrives by air and chats with his air crew and other staff officers. Others are briefed by an American officer seated in a jeep.
