Synopsis
The new Allied Air Commander-in-Chief of South East Asia Command, Air Marshal Sir Keith Park, arrives with his wife at Alipore airfield, near Calcutta, India.
Air Marshal Park disemplanes from his personal RAF Douglas DC-2 HK983 before saluting and shaking hands with Air Marshal Coryton, Air Officer Commanding RAF Bengal and Burma (formerly Third Tactical Air Force). Park and Coryton talking. Park talking with Air Vice Marshal Stevens of the Royal Canadian Air Force and Air Commodore Mellersh, head of Strategic Air Force, Eastern Air Command. Second shot of Park disemplaning with his wife, Dorothy Margarita Park, ne Parish. Various shots of Park talking with other officers. Mellersh and Coryton talking. The party departs by car.

Air Marshal Park was taking over command from Air Marshal Garrod, placed in temporary command after the departure of Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Peirse and the death in transit of his intended replacement, Air Chief Marshal Sir Trafford (incorrectly named 'Stafford' on the dopesheet) Leigh-Mallory.
