Synopsis

The new Allied Air Commander-in-Chief, Air Marshal Sir Keith Park, arrives at Ratmalana airport in Columbo, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).

The retiring Air Marshal Sir Guy Garrod disemplanes, followed by Air Marshal Park and his wife. They are greeted by Air Marshal A Durston, Air Officer Commanding RAF 222 Group. A staff car with an RAF ensign pennant. A Consolidated Liberator heavy bomber can be seen in the background. The officers talk before departing by car.
