1974? Actual war footage featuring British South African Police operations against terrorist incursions in the Zambesi Valley. Rhodesian Security Forces in the Zambesi Valley. - Aerial view of the Northern Rhodesian bush filmed from a military helicopter. The narrator explains that it is part of the anti-terrorists operation. The helicopter arrives at a base camp in the bush with terrorist prisoners. They remove them and a body from the aircraft. A wounded prisoner is treated. The helicopter flys to another base camp. View od soldiers waiting in ambush. Soldiers dig up suspected terrorist supplies. A helicopter picks up the body of another suspected terrorist. The body is delivered to a camp and loaded into a lorry.
Production / Donor Details: The Rhodesia Collection was donated by the journal Rhodesians Worldwide and contains a number of films purchased from the collection of Henry Berriff, a cameraman in the Central African Film Unit. The collection contains amateur and professionally produced titles. The Rhodesian Heritage Film Archive, of which this item forms a part, was aquired by Rhodesians Worldwide from the Anglo-Rhodesian Society, following the dissolution of the Society in 1980.
